About Me
- Honey and Hotstuff
- "We know that God is everywhere; but certainly we feel His presence most when His works are on the grandest scale spread before us; and it is in the unclouded night sky, where His worlds wheel their silent course, that we read clearest His infinitude, His omnipotence, His omnipresence." 7 year Itch
All the good men in the world are one of three things: taken, gay or dead! That is all there is to it. I happened to find one that wasn't any of those and had enough sense to marry him. This Sunday, Hotstuff and I will celebrate our 7th Anniversary. We met and 6 weeks later were engaged. We got married in the Manti Temple in Manti, Utah three months after (we knew each other for a total of 5 months before we got married). Now seven years later, I would be lost without my best friend and better half.
I love you incredibly much! Happy Anniversary Hotstuff! love, Honey

My little Casanova

When I picked up the kids from the fabulous Misses K's house today, both of them were slow to come to the door. Apparently, Miss May was outside and Bubba Jones (who is 2.5) was downstairs playing with his GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, you read that right, girlfriend! When you ask him if she is his girlfriend; he tells you: My C, My girlfriend. You ask C and she will tell you that Bubba Jones is her boyfriend. Miss May told us that one of the kids called C a crybaby; then Bubba Jones tells all of us (in defense of her honor): My Crybaby!
This is a boy seriously in love!

June Bug

I know that I am not the most faithful everyday blogger but I got the bug today to blog and so far I have got nothing. It's June and summer is on it's way. I am excited to see what the summer will bring. We have had storms over the last couple of days and they are supposed to last all week. I love thunder and lighting! The rain helps the horrible allergies that we all suffer from. June is an incredibly busy month for our family. Hotstuff and I will celebrate our anniversary, there is Father's Day and my birthday- all within two weeks! I am ready to be warm again and enjoy my summer vacation. It's official I have been bitten by the June Bug.

Pleasant Moments
I was driving home today from the grocery store when I was struck by a pleasant moment. As a treat, I bought my favorite root beer : Henry Weinhards. What's unique about this wonderful and expensive root beer is that it comes in a glass bottle.

When my family lived in Germany, we had our soda delivered to us. Back then soda still came in glass bottles. Every two weeks a blonde haired gentleman would make his rounds on the base. I still remember this kind German who came by with a smile and our soda. He picked up our crates of empty glass bottles and delivered full bottles of Fanta and Pepsi. My parents knew little german and taught us to say hello and goodbye. I loved when the soda man came by!! We were able to use our german that we learned. Though it was not perfect, he would giggle and help us to say our words correctly. Then on his way he went until two weeks later when he came by again with more glass bottles of Fanta and Pepsi.

Miss May graduates from Preschool!
My baby girl graduated from preschool last night! In a very fun program, the kids recited different nursery rhymes and songs they had learned. Miss May was the Little Old Lady who swallowed a fly. Miss Janae, her teacher, sang the song while different kids placed the animals in her "stomach". They all graduated with honors. Congradualtions Miss May! (Pictures are in reverse order)
